Dr. Shri Nanasaheb constantly reminded social responsibilities and obligations of the human being towards the family, society and nation. He always emphasized – “Instead of asking what nation has done for me always think what best I can do for my nation and the society.” Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratisthan is formed by Dr. Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari to convey the thoughts of selfless work to every strata of the society. The Pratisthan is committed for Philanthropic social work on the steps of Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari.
The Pratisthan undertakes various social activities such as plantation and conservation of trees, providing study material to poor and needy students, cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, medical camps, health awareness programs, providing hearing aids to deaf and dumb, providing aids and articles to physically disabled person, construction of water kiosks, construction of sheds and bus stops for passengers, cleaning of wells, rivers, ponds, dams, tunnels, entrepreneur guidance programmes, guidance for UPSC and MPSC exams, unique and very first program of weeds management at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali, Mumbai, providing essential aids to people affected by natural calamities, aiding to obtain various government certificates etc.
Painting exhibition of this Benevolent work of Dharmadhikari family is being held in various cities such as Mumbai, Thane, Alibag, Panvel, Nagpur, Satara, Sangali, Jabalpur, Pune, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Dhule etc. The exhibition is receiving overwhelming response nationwide. Many noted dignitaries from various strata of society have visited the Exhibition & were amused by the work done by the Pratishthan.
