More About Health Camp

Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratisthan has organized Mega Health Awareness Camp at Dr. D. Y. Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on 20th December 2013. The camp has shown unique utilization of stadium to treat masses in case of any of the emergencies or natural calamities.

Over 1.52 lac people were counseled, diagnosed, treated and given medicines at no cost. A team close to 1571 experienced and qualified specialist doctors including ENT specialists, gynecologists, diabetologists, cardiologists, over 5000 paramedics and volunteers were present to attend the people. 500 counters were set across 16 separate blocks to streamline the flow of people based on the kind of medical attention required for individuals.

Mr. Jack Brock Bank, representative of the Guinness World Record committee was present to witness the camp. He announced the attempt as a Guinness World Record with diagnosis of 51,861 patients in the first 38 minutes of the camp! It was a historical moment for everyone.

The Pratisthan has been organizing medical camps throughout the country on regular basis.
