India's biggest blood stem donors registration campaign was organised by Dr. Shri. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan under guidance of Padmashree. Dr.Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari along with Datree Orgnisation (Taramani-Chennai) in Balewadi sports complex,Pune on 16/07/2018. The campaign was inaugurated at 11am in morning by Padamshree Dr.Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, Shri. Sachindada Dharmadhikari, Shri. Umeshdada Dharmadhikari,Shri.Rahuldada Dharmadhikari ,CEO of Datree organisation Shri.Raghuraj Gopal, hematologist Dr.Samir Melikari, Mayor of Pune Smt.Mukta Tilak.

Total 6410 blood stem donors were registered in this campaign out of which 3400 women and 3010 were men. If matching donor out of these registered donors is found for patients suffering from Thalassemia or other blood related diseases then this will help these patients in their surgeries. Lot of people are suffering from life threateing diseases like Thalassemia and blood cancer. The last treatment for these diseases are bone marrow transplant. Datree has given hope to such patients by collecting information of donors.

Shri.Sachindada Dharmadhikari said that due to this campaign lot of patients will now be able to find blood stem donors.

Shri.Raghuraj Gopal mentioned that out of 10000 or 1,00,000 one matching blood stem donor can be found. He also said that the Pratishthan is helping us in this mission and this work of the Pratishthan is commendable. We received 6410 donors from this campaign.

This campaign was organised by Partishthan and Datree in very disciplinary manner from 11 a.m to 3 p.m.
