Dr. Shri Nanasheb Dharmadhikari Pratisthan had organized Cleanliness drive at Shreemukhya (Mukhari) Ganpati Temple, Chaul, Taluka Alibag under the precious guidance of the “brand ambassador of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan” Dr. Shri Dattatray Narayan Dharmadhikari Alias Shri Aappasaheb Dharmadhikari. This drive was conducted with consent letter issued by Group Grampanchayat, Chaul, bearing No. 1122/ dated 03.06.2015 and letter dated 01.06.2015 issued by Trustee of Shree Mukhya (Mukhari) Ganpati Temple at Chaul, Taluka Alibaug, Dist. Raigad. The Pratishthan had carried out a drive to remove slug and cleaning of Pokharan (Pushkarni) in-front-of Ganpati Temple.

The Pokharan (Pushkarni) is having dimension of 20 X 20 Sq. feet. To remove the slug from this Pokharan, the Pratisthan had used one Kerosene pump. The removed slug was transported with help of 4 Dumper-trucks which carried 14 rounds and also 2 pickup tempos which carried 14 rounds. Totally 50 brass of slug was removed and 8000 litres of impure water was scooped out from the Pokharan with help 500 volunteers of the Pratishthan.

The villagers of Chaul were astonished with this enormous drive completed by the Pratishthan. Group Grampanchayat, Chaul and Trustee of Shree Mukhya (Mukhari) Ganpati Temple at Chaul have glorified the work of the pratishthan by sending an appreciation letter for this extraordinary social work done by the pratishthan.
