Dr. Shri Dattatreya Narayan alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari Back

Most respected DR. Shri Dattatreya Narayan alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari has gratified the land of Maharashtra which is purified and glorified by the feet of national saints. He took birth in Maharashtra, a land of saints. He is providing guidance to the men and women of 21st century in a most appropriate, simple but inspiring words. Even the most common person and his family members and their society is shown a path of prosperity and nobility so that everyone may live with dignity and grace. He has achieved a unique distinction in implementing moral values in society through the oral preaching which are like a shower of nectarine words. He has not only exposed ignorance as the cause of man’s misery for a person who forgets the ideals of noble values but has also provided internal strength and shown the way out of this misery leading him or her to highway of happiness. The adult literacy centres started by him is a completely distinct feature of campaigning in favour of literacy. After inspiring curiosity in illiterate persons for literacy he made the facilities of literacy freely available, in the form of adult literacy centres as a permanent feature to all. He worked with a firm resolution to bring everyone on the path of moral conduct. Many people caught in remorse and many others who had lost their confidence are enjoying the fruits of a meaningful life today. Dr. Shri Appasaheb is therefore seen as an architect of a society made up of noble and secular individuals.

Khopoli Nagar Parishad (Khopoli Municipal council) having taken cognizance of Dr. Shri Appasaheb’s work, took a decision of honouring him with felicitation and a citation. The president of Khopoli Nagar Parishad Shri. Masurkar made the best of the opportunity of the function of Shivsamarth Puraskar presentation by Samarth Vyaspeeth Pune on 21st December 2007 at the hands of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri. R.R. Patil and presented a citation, shawl and cocoanut together with a memento. A mammoth gathering was present on this occasion.
