Special Felicitation as Scholar & Propagator of Saintly Literature by Kokan Marathi Sahitya Parishad, 2014

Dr. Shri Dattatreya Narayan alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari Back

Fifteenth Literacy meet of Kokan Marathi Sahitya Parishad was held at Mahad, District Raigad, on 10th 11th 12th January. Dr. Shri Dattatreya Narayan alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari was invited for concluding function of this literacy meet as a chief guest.

Illustrious work social awakening in the family of Dr, Appasaheb has brought about sublimation of human thinking in entire Maharashtra and more so in kokan region of the state. Dr. Shri Appasaheb made necessary changes in the saintly literature to suit the modern times and carried teachings to various cross section of society. Towns and cities, villages and hamlets of tribal regions benefitted in majority through his teachings. Freedom from addiction, adult literacy, dowry eradication, tree plantation in huge number are all benefits of this social awakening. These accomplishment were noted by the kokan Marathi Sahitya Parishad. The parishad decided to felicitate Dr. Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, by honouring him with a certificate of a scholar and propagator of saintly literature, in its concluding function. On this occasion, the president of kokan Marathi Sahitya Parishad, Padmashri Madhu Mangesh Karnik honoured Dr. Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari by presenting shawl, shreephal, memnto and certificate. Many literacy personalities had an opportunity to receive Dr. Shri Appasaheb’s ideas and thoughts.
