Dr. Shri Dattatreya Narayan alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari Back

In the present age man is becoming the cause of his own destruction. This is due to his blind race for physical comforts. Saints and sages have risen from time to time to help and guide the society towards peace and prosperity. The values and ethics forgotten by people at large are revived everytime by the sincere efforts of such saintly persons.

The aim is to re-establish humanity. Dr. Shri Dattatraya Narayan alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is one such personality believing and preserving the greatness of saints and their teaching. His father Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari introduced the thoughts mentioned in literature of saintly wisdom in such a form that it could be easily accepted by the present society. These thoughts of saintly wisdom are meant to save the entire world from its present path of self destruction. Dr. Shri Appasaheb applied himself to the task of spreading these thoughts and teachings to the world before him. The last 43 years have been an un-interrupted period of intense efforts by Dr. Shri Appasaheb in which he awakened men and women from a life of ignorance to show them a path of glory and satisfaction. A society free from the evils of blind following has taken shape through these sincere efforts. Not to be left behind. The city of Panvel derived immense benefits from Dr. Shri Appasaheb’s teachings. Innumerable men and women are leading a clean and healthy life in Panvel, as on today.

Out of immense gratitude and an obviously deep seated respect in their hearts of the residents of Panvel wanted to felicitate Dr. Shri Appasaheb. Under the guidance of MLA Shri Prashantji Thakur and M.P. Shri. Ramseth Thakur, Dr. Shri. Appasaheb was felicitated on 1st June 2012, at the huge open space ground, opposite Khandeshwar station. The felicitation proframme held under the glamour and glitter of a huge function was marked by citation award to Dr. Shri. Appasaheb. The function was held in the presence of Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Prithviraj Chavan. The function was presided by Shri. Sunilji Tatkare Honourable minister of Water Resources and Guardian Minister of Raigad District, amidst the sounds of drum beating supported by the sound of trumpets and fire crackers and amidst huge applause of continuous clappings. Hon’able Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Prithvirajji Chavan presented a shawl, shriphal, Citation and a memento to Dr. Shri. Appasaheb. At the same time a flying helicopter showered petals on the huge assembly of eager followers.
