Dr. Shri Sachindada Dattatreya Dharmadhikari alias Sachindada Dharmadhikari, the son of the Padma Shri awarded Dr. Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, is a distinguished, nationally recognized selfless social worker in India. Learning moral values, civic responsibilities from his grandfather Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari and father Dr. Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, he continued the path of community service with the same passion. He has showcased his expertise as a humanitarian, executive, mentor, community leader, technology entrepreneur and philanthropist. From a young age, he played a vital role in his family's ongoing public welfare efforts.

Personal Philosophy

Building upon the foundation of public welfare laid by his forefathers foundation, Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari stepped forward to serve the globe and dedicated his life to address critical global issues related to environmental sustainability, public health and safety, education, unemployment, women empowerment, and social inequality. He established the nonprofit organisation Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan (DSNDP) to create a global impact in the field of public welfare. Leveraging on DSNDP, he has been leading the execution of over 45 varied social initiatives including large-scale blood donation drives, tree plantation and conservation events, cleanliness drives, career guidance workshops, health camps, distributing educational material, and water management initiatives across 23 countries. Driven by his belief “Humanity is the only religion and human race is the only race”, he continues to expand his valuable social contribution beyond religion, caste, colour, nationality and financial background.

Contributions in India

Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari, hails every individual who is selflessly dedicated to community service as a true superhero. Leading by example, he has inculcated a sense of social responsibility and motivated 3 million volunteers unitedly working towards a social goal, thereby making a significant impact. Collaborating with the Indian government, he led the world’s largest cleanliness drive “Clean India Mission” - launched by the prime minister of India - across 71 cities in Maharashtra, India, which saw more than 200,000 volunteers disposing of 32,530 tons of waste. Targeting environmental conservation and public health, Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari has been continuously organising cleanliness drives extracting 124,783 tons of waste, planted and conserved 3.67 million trees, constructed several dams, cleaned hundreds of wells, rivers, lakes eliminating over 14000 tons of waste.

To address the scarcity of blood reserves, he raised 64 blood donation drives where volunteers donated 47,628 bags of blood in India. He organised India's largest health camp — a Guinness World Record event — that provided free diagnosis, treatment, and counselling to 150,000 individuals. His visionary leadership in a stem cell donor registration event with Datri established a registry of over 6,000 donors, offering hope to patients and families around the world. He has been instrumental in organising one of India’s largest blood stem donor registration camps which saw 6410 donors as potential matches for Thalassemia and life-threatening blood cancers - a significant number given the scarcity of potential matches. To emphasise the importance of education, he has been leading distribution of 325,000 stationary items, arranging several career guidance workshops and literacy campaigns throughout the country.

Global Contributions

Embodying the motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - The world is one family” he has inspired thousands of his followers across globe to undertake social work across 23 countries including the United States, Australia, Canada, UK, Singapore and Qatar, to name a few. Having reached notable milestones in community service, health, and environmental initiatives in India, Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari extended his efforts globally, dedicating time and resources to similar causes in the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and other countries. His relentless commitment to preserving the environment is evident through a nationwide cleanliness and tree conservation initiative that spans Singapore, Australia, Canada and the United States. In the 18 states and 106 cities of the US, the remarkable impact of these efforts is reflected in the collection of 49,500 pounds of waste and the planting of over 19,000 trees. Due to his Motivation, 300 participants from 29 states across the U.S. gathered in support of a single day Mega Cleanliness Drive and Tree Conservation event held in honour of Earth Day. At this event, his dedication to social service was prominently displayed on massive billboards in Times Square, New York, emphasising a forward-thinking commitment to environmental stewardship.

A strong advocate of the belief that “Good health is a blessing that money can’t buy,” Dr. Sachin Dharmadhikari has made substantial contributions to healthcare. By collaborating with American Red Cross and Canadian Blood Services, he has hosted multiple blood and plasma donation drives in the US and Canada respectively. To emphasise the importance of early cancer detection in women, he launched an exclusive ‘Women’s Cancer Awareness Conference’ in the United States. The event addressed five common cancers affecting women, featuring speakers from world famous institutions like Harvard, Tufts, Cleveland Clinic, and educated 120 attendees.
